Aspinwall, who can play either wing or centre, has signed a 2 year deal which will keep him at the Galpharm Stadium until 2007. The 23 year old stands at 185cm and weighs 84kg.

Martin joined the club from the Wigan Warriors. He has also represented England. Perhaps his greatest highlight was his magnificent solo 50 metre try in the 2003 Super League Grand final.

Position – Winger/Centre
Rep Honours – England(2003)
Weight – 87 kilograms
Height – 185 cm

Martin is a new signing for 2006 after progressing through Wigan’s Academy system, having been tipped as ‘one to watch’ by Wigan chairman Maurice Lindsay. Martin is strong in defence and knows how to find the try-line, having scored roughly one try in every 3 games in Super League since his first full season in 2003. He will be a reliable player on the Giants flanks, and will bring big game-experience to the club having played in a Grand Final and Challenge Cup Final for Wigan.
