Albert joins the club from Australian club St Georges

The powerhouse outside back signed a 1 year deal which will bring him to the Galpharm for engage Super League XI.

Torrens, 29, who stands at 177cms and weighs 94kg, has made 157 NRL appearances for Northern Eagles, Manly and St George, scoring 57 tries.

His versatility and vast experience will make him a real stand out performer in the Engage Super League XI campaign

Albert enjoyed a long and successful career in Australia where he scored 57 tries in 157 appearances before deciding to join the Giants at the back end of last year. A powerhouse back who is difficult to stop near the line, he should be among the top try-scorers this season, and will be looking to form a potent combination with likely centre partner Michael De Vere.
