SMITH SIGNS 2 YEAR EXTENSION Smith signs 2year extension.

Huddersfield giants second row forward Paul Smith has signed a new 2year deal with the giants to keep him on the squad until the end of 2007. Smith has played every game for the giants is engage super league x and has had an outstanding season.

Head Coach Jon Sharp commented:
"Paul is a model professional who has a very good attitude and work ethic. His excellent performances and consistency this season have certainly warranted this contract extension. Since he joined the Giants in 2004 he has developed into a very good Super League back-rower and I am delighted that he is staying with the club for the next two seasons."
Paul Smith commented:
"I'm absolutely delighted a deal has been done. One of my main aims of this season was to earn a new contract by playing as consistently as possible. That's now been achieved and I can look forward to at least two more years at the club which is fantastic. I think I've improved each year and I know I can get even better, as long as I continue to put in the hard work. There's no question the Giants can continue to get stronger in Super League in the years ahead, and it's great knowing I'll be around to see this happen."
