After a year in Australia, Chris returned to the Giants in 2005 for his second spell at the club. He enjoyed an outstanding year, finishing as the Giants’ top try-scorer and points-scorer, including a record-breaking 36 point haul against Leigh in the Giants’ record Super League win. His year was capped off with the Giants’ player of the year award for that year, and he was named as England Captain for the matches against France and New Zealand. Chris is a consistent defender and a major threat in attack with his outstanding distribution, kicking game and support play.
